Minnesota is a state in the United States. It is known for its rich Indigenous heritage, European colonization, and development as an agricultural and industrial hub. Before European colonization, the area was home to Native American tribes such as the Dakota (Sioux) and Ojibwa (Chippewa), who lived by fishing, hunting, and farming.
